Helping Tyler with a Pioneer Seed test plot

I called my farmers-wife mentor, Melinda, during my first week of my new job and during our conversation she said something about planning a garden, but “the farm is the priority.”

It is. No doubt about it. Tyler has flight school classes. He’s missing some of them. The shower in the master bath needs a seam or two re-caulked. We’ve been showering in the hall bath for two weeks. The lawn mower is in need of some maintenance. It will have to deal with my unskilled hand.

During busy times, I’m learning we just have to let some things slide so we can keep moving in the fields.

Because the farm is the priority.

God Bless You & American Agriculture,
Liz

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. – Matthew 6:33-34 (NIV)
